The public forum will focus on women’s leadership and participation in disaster risk reduction, and specifically their contribution to the implementation of the post-2015 framework for DRR. Featuring experiences and viewpoints of local and national governments, grassroots leaders and private sectors at the frontline of reducing disaster and climate risk in the world, the session will summarize key lessons learned in the last decade and shortlist actions to overcome challenges experienced.
